Challenges and actions

A program of initiatives in pictures, accessible to everyone

At the heart of the Institut pour la photographie’s mission, the promotion of art and culture aims to support everyone in their relationship with the photographic image.

In a world where images serve as a form of language, we must learn to decipher and experience them, to awaken our curiosity and broaden our perspective, so that we can better perceive what—right before our eyes and within us—lurks and unfolds.

By linking personal and collective stories, these initiatives enable everyone to explore different photographic practices, develop their visual culture and imagination, and become aware of the issues surrounding the dissemination of images.
