Annual Activity Reports

Below you will find the Institut pour la photographie's annual activity reports, available for free. 

The activity report is an analytical and strategic planning document that provides an overview of the past year across various topics, including visitor numbers, audience research, the expansion of the photographic collections, the activities of the various departments, partnerships, the Institute’s administrative and financial management, activities related to supporting research and artistic creation, programming, and offerings related to artistic and cultural outreach.

Key figures for the past year:

  • 268,000 visitors potentially reached by exhibitions produced or co-produced by the Institute, including 107,000 internationally

  • 6 co-produced exhibitions throughout the year

     

  • 27 events related to exhibitions, publishing, and support for research and creative work

  • more than 30 supported artists and researchers, two-thirds of whom are women

  • 143 applications were received in response to the three calls for applications issued as part of the support program for research and creation

     

  • 288 artistic and cultural outreach initiatives

  • 1,247 new items added to the library's collection and 135,730 logins to the online portal

  • 8,281 phototypes cataloged and re-packaged, including 1,237 phototypes made available online

  • 15 audio descriptions, 3 FALC booklets, 6 sensory kits, and 8 tactile images made available to the public

  • 216 hours of training for the team
