True Faith

True Faith   is a study of the phenomenon of religious apparitions in Italy, a country where two-thirds of the world’s recorded apparitions occur. 

while going through newspaper archives, I came across this “ invisible geography ", I visit the sites of the apparitions, ask the locals to show me where the apparition took place, and to tell me what they see. In collaboration with a socio-anthropologist, I collect all of these accounts. 

The photograph thus becomes evidence of something that cannot be proven—a record of something that will always remain invisible to me.
