Romane Riquier is a French visual artist who graduated from the Beaux-Arts schools in Tourcoing and Aix-en-Provence. She lives and works in the Hauts-de-France region, where she pursues a multidisciplinary practice that combines publishing, writing, photography, video, performance, and sound.

Her work examines the artist’s role in contemporary society by exploring themes such as transmission, memory, and individual and collective narratives.

Drawing on ethnology and journalism, his video work might resemble documentaries influenced by the Striptease . In her view, certain marginalized and overlooked communities are collective forces essential to the progress of our society. She seeks to poetically highlight individuals, dialogues, or circumstances. Her work is a form of peaceful yet passionate activism, employing a variety of media chosen to serve the message she conveys.
