Introduction
Ilanit Illouz presents a collection of photographic and works-on-paper from the series Les dolines -Sinkholes- produced between 2016 and 2020.
A visual artist and photographer, Ilanit Illouz explores territories, capturing their memory by collecting organic and mineral traces, which she photographs and reimagines in the studio through original image-processing techniques. Her research inspires an artistic project that draws attention to the depletion of natural resources caused by human activities.
