Ilanit Illouz

A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy (2005), Ilanit Illouz is a French photographer and visual artist. 

In particular, she was the winner of the national photography commission in 2018 Flux, a company on the move from the National Center for Visual Arts (Cnap) and won the Louis Roederer Discovery Audience Award at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2021.

His work has been featured in group and solo exhibitions at numerous institutions in France and abroad, notably at the Jeu de Paume in Paris (2022), the FRAC Grand Large (2023), the MAC VAL (2019), the Institut pour la photographie in Lille (2020), the Église des Frères Prêcheurs as part of the Rencontres d’Arles, and the Jimei Arles Festival in China (2021).

In 2023, his work was also featured at the Aurillac Museum of Art and Archaeology and at the International Center for Art and Landscape (CIAP) on Vassivière Island as part of a group exhibition Earthly Diplomatics curated by Alexandra McIntosh.

His works are included in numerous public and private collections, including those of the MAC VAL, the Rencontres d’Arles, the Centre national des arts plastiques (CNAP), the FRAC Franche-Comté, the FRAC Grand Large, and the Neuflize OBC Collection.

Ilanit d’Illouz’s work has been the subject of several publications, including Wadi Qelt, in the Radiance of the Stones (2021) and Salicornia Soda (2023), published by EYD.
