Born in France in 1981, Julie Bourges lives between Rennes and Paris.
After studying photojournalism at Émi-CFD, Julie Bourges has devoted herself to news and documentary photography.
In 2008, “ Flamingos "She received the Talent Scholarship Special Mention. While taking on commissioned work for the press, she creates images that oscillate between abstraction and the dreamlike. Inspired by Federico Fellini, Theo Angelopoulos, and Italo Calvino, she creates minimalist, fragmentary, and timeless images that leave room for the imagination.
