As part of the “Vivantes!” exhibition, the Institut pour la photographie invites you to meet the artist Camille Froidevaux-Metterie for a discussion about her work.
Camille Froidevaux-Metterie is a philosopher specializing in feminist thought. Her research focuses on themes related to women’s bodies—ranging from objectification and alienation to emancipation and reappropriation. She is the author of Breasts: In Search of Liberation (2020), A Body of One's Own (2021), Such a Big Belly: Real-Life Experiences of the Pregnant Body (2023) and a debut novel Full and sweet (2023).
