Persistence

Persistence is an exploration of the memory of the soil through the “paths of desire,” both on Earth and on Mars. 

The project revolves around two spaces: it traces the subtle “paths of desire” carved out by the repeated passage of our footsteps on the city’s streets, and observes the traces of life left by the astromobile Perseverance explores Mars just as much as the traces it leaves behind, fragments of which reach us in an endless stream of images.
