Léonie Young

Léonie Young was born in 1981.
A 2006 graduate of the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, she has lived and worked in Lille since 2011. Her artistic work explores the ways in which we shape spaces and represent the landscape.
She exhibits in France and abroad, and carries out projects in Wroclaw, Poland; Évry; and Quebec—notably as part of artist residencies, such as at theCentre Est-Nord-Est in Quebec City in 2009, at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2010, and at Studio BWA in Wroclaw, Poland, in 2016.
His series Futuroscopes received support from the Hauts-de-France DRAC and the Centre Photographique Île-de-France in 2017 as part of the Research and Post-Production Workshop.
