For the past decade or so, Jean-Michel André has been pursuing a body of photographic work that lies at the intersection of visual and documentary approaches. His approach is rooted in a political and poetic vision of the territory. He explores its boundaries, its memory, and its evolution. He also explores the concept of circulation, particularly the economic, financial, and migratory flows that characterize the contemporary world.
