Show the river

Show the river , a project that began in 2017 and is still ongoing, was based on a single image of a Norwegian landscape.

It invites viewers to a visual experience that challenges the mechanisms of perception and the relationship between the sculptural object, the human eye, and movement. The gestures that transform the original element go beyond the surface and seek to introduce a new
spatiality.

My practice questions the need to create new images. As a counterpoint to the frenetic production of images that characterizes our era, I focus on those that already exist—drawn from collective or personal archives, or found images—and in doing so, I explore what the act of creating images might entail.
