Anna Safiatou Touré, born in 1996, is a Franco-Malian multidisciplinary artist based in Brussels. Her work explores the space that unites or separates the two sides of any migration narrative.
The two multifaceted projects Gamanké Museum (2025) and The Planteurs Building (in progress) examine colonial memory and its silences. The first, through mask sculptures and a virtual museum, initiates a symbolic restoration of these objects. The second, by recreating the missing hands of statues in Liège, materializes absence as a phantom pain, extending this reflection on our legacies.
