Optical Theater

through its depiction of bodies, Pierre Zucca’s film set photography appears as the stage of a silent theater onto which are projected countless desires—to see, to show, and to play with the false. 

By exploring Pierre Zucca’s photographic work through its contours—whether invisible or previously unseen—this research will take on as many forms as the work itself calls for, envisioning an intersection between photography, film, and performance.
