The Exhibition Catalog L is for Look. Children's Photobook, co-published by Spector Books , the Institut pour la photographie and Photo Élysée , has been nominated for the Paris Photo Award Aperture PhotoBook Awards in the “Photography Catalog of the Year” category, alongside four other books.

Edited by Anne Lacoste, director of the Institut pour la photographie, this book traces nearly a century of children’s photo books. Published in French, English, and German, it brings together and explores more than a hundred children’s picture books from various countries. Covering all genres of children’s literature—from alphabet books to reinterpretations of traditional fairy tales—it shows how photo books accompany children and thereby shape their view of the world.

The winner will be announced on Friday, November 13, during Paris Photo.
