Kyrielle

Kyrielle is a project carried out in collaboration with the Lille Opera; it received support from the DRAEAC in Lille, the DRAC Hauts-de-France, and the Ré-seau Canopé. 

The Project

featuring Lucie Pastureau, Lionel Pralus, and Rémy Héritier

By combining photography and contemporary dance, the Kyrielle project allowed 10th-grade Passerelle students to explore each medium in light of the other, raising questions about personal and collective, individual and generational identities.

drawing on a series of photographic (self)portraits, the students collaborated—in the style of a choreographic sequence—to create a dance score, serving as a transition from one snapshot to the next, to craft a sensitive portrait of a generation in motion.
