avec le Lycée Baudelaire de Roubaix

Album 23

Album 23  is a photography project carried out by students at Lycée Baudelaire in Roubaix, with the guidance of their teachers, photographer Jean-Michel André, and writer Wilfried N’Sondé.

The Project

featuring Jean-Michel André and Wilfried N’Sondé

drawing on an exploration of photographs and archival documents related to their school, as well as interviews with former students and staff members, the high school students combined documentary research with works of autofiction to offer a journey through a memory in flux, via memories that have been reinvented and reconstructed. Like a play of shadows and reflections, these stories reveal traces of shared experiences, helping us better imagine what the future might hold.

The Project Album 23 was developed with support from the DRAEAC in Lille and the DRAC Hauts-de-France, and in collaboration with the La Grand Plage Media Library in Roubaix.
