Quentin Pruvost

Born in 1983, Quentin Pruvost now lives in Bermeries in the Pays de Mormal. 

He has been a photographer for ten years. His captivating work on the flow of rivers caught the attention of the Institut pour la photographie, which organized his first solo exhibition, *Inland Voyage*, in 2022; it was held outdoors in Lille.

A Journey Upstream stevenson’s work provides the photographer with an opportunity to revisit his childhood memories of canoeing on the Sambre. His views of the riverbanks and the surrounding landscape evoke the introspective nature of their shared experience. 

The density of the vegetation is emphasized by filling the entire frame with lighting effects that transform the landscape into mysterious, shifting scenes.
