Marie Blanc

Researcher

Marie Blanc is a doctoral student in art history at the University of Grenoble Alpes, where she is a member of the LARHRA research laboratory.

Her dissertation—supervised by Paula Barreiro López (FRAMESPA) and Christian Joschke (HAR)—examines the production, reception, and circulation of Czechoslovakia’s tourist image during the Cold War, based on a transmedia visual corpus (guidebooks, magazines, photo-illustrated books, postcards, amateur photographs, etc.)

A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon and the University of Paris X Nanterre La Défense, she teaches contemporary art history at the University of Louis Lumière Lyon 2 and the University of Grenoble Alpes.
