Leila Pereira

Born in 1988, Leila Pereira graduated from the ENSP in Arles in 2014. 

In her work, Leïla Pereira explores our relationship with reality through gesture, the photographic image, and text. She continues her practice in Lille. She is currently a photography instructor at Ësa Dunkerque-Tourcoing.

regarding her work, she writes: 

“Photography and text allow me to convey a sensory experience of a place or an event. I take them in with my whole body. I focus on details and anecdotes. When put together, these elements paint a poetic portrait of the place.”
