Doriane Molay

Artist and researcher

A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Doriane Molay is currently completing her dissertation at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, where she is a member of CESPRA. 

Her research focuses on the practice of the photo album and examines the narrative construction of the “self” and its impact on the formation of the subject. She has also taught (at EHESS and INHA), participated in international conferences, published, undertaken study visits (Warburg Institute, Harvard University’s Houghton Library), and is a co-principal investigator on the project “Fiction and the Ethical Turn,” in which she focuses on the works of Leonard Woolf and the Bloomsbury Group.
