Cédric Calandraud
Photographer and filmmaker
Born in France in 1991, Cédric Calandraud lives in Paris.
With a dual master’s degree in sociology and documentary filmmaking, Cédric Calandraud has spent the past five years revisiting his working-class, rural roots by directing projects centered on his hometown of La Rochefoucauld, in Charente, including *France 98* and the audio documentary Nénette speaks the local dialect.
In 2018, he won awards at the Boutographies festival in Montpellier and the FotoLeggendo festival in Rome. He was awarded the Laurent Troude Fellowship and the CNAP Fellowship for Documentary Photography.
