Listen to the Images

For several months, students from Collège Sévigné (Roubaix), the Institut pour la photographie (Lille), and students in the Master’s program in Mediation and Digital Technology at the University of Lille have been working together on audio descriptions of photographs from the exhibition Elastic Bodies by Lucie Pastureau, and collaborated with the artist on a photography project focused on portraiture for “Écouter les images.”

On May 22, as part of the “Printemps de l’accessibilité” (Spring of Accessibility) event organized by the City of Lille, they will share this collaborative work during a public presentation at the Théâtre du Nord. The audio descriptions will be delivered live, and the portraits they created together will be presented to the public. A moving encounter, where sight and sound intersect.
