Writing & Fanzine Workshop by Les Piñatas

as part of the exhibition *Les Corps élastiques*

Workshop

On May 30 and June 6, 2026, as part of the exhibition Elastic Bodies led by Lucie Pastureau, the Institut pour la photographie is offering a two-part workshop*, specially designed for teens ages 11 to 16 by artists Juliette Huber and Edel Pradot, members of the Les Piñatas collective.

The workshop begins on May 30 with a writing exercise focused on the body and intimacy. Through guided prompts, participants are invited to explore the complexity of our bodies and the stories we tell ourselves about them, to try to reconcile ourselves with certain parts of our bodies, to heal our scars, to soothe our stories, and to smile at the changes taking place.

This writing session will be followed by a fanzine-making workshop on June 6. Using the texts they’ve written, photographs, papers of various textures, and other materials provided, each participant will create a personal notebook that blends images and words, based on the themes explored.

Speakers:

↘︎ Juliette Huber
A multidisciplinary artist, she explores her family heritage—a legacy of silences and stories of migration. She regularly leads intergenerational workshops that combine writing, movement, and performance with children, students, and adult groups.

↘︎ Edel Pradot
Edel is a choreographer, performer, and writer. As a member of the MUES Collective, her next production, *Fem us*, explores the relationship with the body. As part of Les Piñatas, Edel helps organize events, curates highlights of reading-performances, and leads writing and fanzine workshops.
