Workshop - MUR-MURE with Yasmina Benabderrahmane

The approach of this project lies somewhere between a documentary and a filmed diary. It is a story of mystical, poetic, physical, intimate, and architectural transformation. The film brings together different settings and eras. 

This workshop will create faceted portraits in the style of visual cartography, weaving connections to narrated gestures. It will draw on discoveries, collected materials, archives, and personal stories—both auditory and visual. We will explore whether, from the emergence of the first image to the flow of digital images, there is something far more visceral at play between our gaze and the photosensitive process than mere visual consumption. This inquiry may be a physical reflection on the very act of revealing an image. It is this question that the wall receives and poses, in a process of constant interplay.
