Afghan Box Weekend

with Julien Pitinome and Labo148

Workshop

Come have your portrait taken! As a counterpoint to the ultra-modernity of digital photography, the Afghan Box, designed by Julien Pitinome, is a light-tight wooden box that combines a camera and a darkroom.

Traditionally used by street photographers who produce ID photos for their clients, the Institut pour la photographie invites you—as part of its inaugural program—to experience photography in a new way.
