Educational Resource - extraORDINAIRE
This fall, the Institut pour la photographie is launching its first program with “extraORDINAIRE”: a series featuring seven exhibitions, an installation in a public space, and experimental workshops.
This free event is an opportunity to share with you the preliminary plans for the Institut pour la photographie. The library, workshops, discussions, and screenings will all provide opportunities for people of all backgrounds to engage in dialogue and explore photography.
Whether you are a teacher, educator, program leader, social worker, healthcare professional, etc., this resource guide is designed to help you navigate your first encounter with the Institut pour la photographie by introducing you to its mission, its initial events and exhibitions, and various suggestions for itineraries, workshops, and educational resources that can help you develop activities focused on visual literacy in photography—across a range of disciplines—with the children, teens, and/or adults in your care.
The Institute’s Artistic and Cultural Outreach Department is available to meet with you, welcome you, and work with you to design these programs.
