I observe, I film, therefore I am

Photography and video act as a catalyst: “I observe, I film, therefore I am.”

The act of filming or taking photographs is an attempt to freeze a moment in time. The resulting series of images and sounds invite us to pause the passage of time.

They seek to create a poetic encounter with a text—not as an illustration, but as an extension of that text in words that opens up another dimension. They also seek to convey the emotion felt at the moment they were captured.

What are we photographing—the landscape, or ourselves as reflected through these moments? The images play with the boundaries of perception and digital experimentation. What will these long exposures reveal about the dimension that eludes us most: time? Or another form of duration?

Raging Winds
Where are these clouds fleeing to?
under the silver moon?
