Éveiller le regard, a free training program on photography for teachers.
With the goal of supporting volunteer teachers in their understanding of the image as a language and a tool for dialogue across different fields of learning, the Institut pour la photographie has offered an annual training program on photographic images every year since 2022.
Designed for use across different grade levels and subject areas, this transdisciplinary program combines professional development sessions with classroom activities to support teachers and their students as they jointly explore a medium that offers a wide range of possibilities.

Contents
↘︎ A six-day training program for teachers, combining theoretical instruction and hands-on activities
↘︎ The creation of a unique photography project within each teacher's school
↘︎ Suggested classroom activities: image-reading workshops, photography workshops with artists, meetings, etc.
↘︎ Support and practical application of what was learned in the training
↘︎ A group performance at the end of the school year
↘︎ A physical publication conceived and designed collaboratively
