"Les Mauvaises Herbes" is a project developed with the support of the DRAEAC in Lille, the DRAC Hauts-de-France, and the Canopé Network.
The Project
featuring Léo and Tom Delacressonnière and Hideyuki Ishibashi
In April 2022, students at Lycée Louis Pasteur in Lille studied plants weeds , also known as weeds , which grow among the gravel and in the planters.
They harvested, cataloged, drew, and photographed plants collected in their schoolyard. Then, together with artists Léo and Tom Delacressonnière and Hideyuki Ishibashi, they imagined and designed “garden books” that blend handmade paper, India ink drawings, poetry, cyanotypes, and film photographs.
