As part of their moral and civic education (EMC) curriculum, the students were asked to explore the concept of “social bonds”—a topic that  Charles Thiéfaine, a photojournalist and documentary photographer, places at the heart of his projects. 

He and the students thus explored different ways of approachingthis connection through photography,  using both outdoor and studio shoots, as well as digital and film photography.  The goal was to explore photography from different perspectives  and  to create a  collaborative work  that, in turn, would serve as a bridge.
