Photographer and artist
Yuliia Kruhova is Ukrainian; she currently lives between the cities of Sumy and Kyiv.
Although she initially worked as a German-language lecturer, in 2021 she volunteered to support the war effort and provide medical aid on the ground in Ukraine; it was at that very moment that she began taking photographs. Her work is deeply influenced by the political situation in Ukraine.
His personal experience is reflected in his first project, “ This winter will never end " — this winter will never end —, developed during the winter spanning 2025 and 2026.
