Valène De Valck has been producing documentaries, cultural features, and various artist profiles for television for the past 8 years. She grew up, studied, and works in Brussels.

At the same time, she has been developing her passion for various artistic disciplines, such as photography, collage, drawing, and writing.

Valène De Valck has always been curious about combining these different techniques to explore and gain a deeper understanding of the human condition—its twists and turns, its crevices, its shadows, and its quirks. Her photographic work focuses primarily on self-portraiture in relation to the plant world. It is a quest for identity, acceptance, and reconnection with the self.

Valène De Valck is currently working on two new projects. A feature-length documentary on the " Spinster "and a short animated film about the power of words.
