Susie Waroude

Photographer

Born in 1997, Susie Waroude is a French photographer with a degree in photography and moving images.

Her work revolves around the concept of ordeal—how it affects bodies, relationships, and the passage of time when illness, aging, or precariousness come to disrupt, weaken, or redefine our lives.

His projects, often rooted in Picardy, draw on real-life situations and specific experiences set in familiar places.

In 2021, she was selected as a recipient of the Culture program and Solidarités, followed by the Via Silva Photography Festival in 2024.

In addition to her artistic practice, Susie Waroude collaborates with national and regional media outlets and teaches photography at the Center for Journalist Training and at the University of Lyon II.
