Peggy Herbeau

Peggy Herbeau’s photographic work focuses on discovering places imbued with nostalgia or imbued with a remarkable sense of imagination,  places that have a unique relationship with time. This is true whether in her work on childhood or her work on historic or industrial sites where nature is reclaiming its rightful place. 

Peggy Herbeau was introduced to photography during an 18-month trip through Asia and South America. Upon her return to Paris, she took courses in art history and photography taught by JF Chevrier at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.

A professional photographer for 20 years, she has focused on portraiture and photojournalism, taking on assignments primarily for publishers (she collaborated with Editions Larousse for 8 years on books about motherhood and childhood), private clients, and businesses. 

It also carries out projects commissioned by cities and institutions on topics related to children and youth. 

​At the same time, she explores personal themes related to travel and childhood. 

​She exhibits her work in galleries and cultural venues.
