Pauline Le Pichon

Since 2014, Pauline Le Pichon has been working as a visual artist in northern France; she is a graduate of the Valenciennes School of Art and Design.

Her photographic work explores the ambiguities of the image through staged scenes and devices that challenge the viewer’s perspective. In her series, she has chosen to play with the conventions of the photographic medium by multiplying ambiguities and blurring boundaries. 

Self-portrait or portrait? Fiction or reality? Staged photograph or candid shot? These are just some of the questions that sow doubt in the viewer’s mind and allow them to make each image their own. 

His works have been featured in various exhibition settings in France and abroad.
