Pauline Delwaulle

Pauline Delwaulle returned to live and work in her hometown of Dunkirk three years ago, at the Fructôse association's workshops.
She trained at ENSAPC and at Le Fresnoy—National Studio for Contemporary Arts—and completed technical training at the Arles School of Photography. She was a recipient of the AIC-CNAP grant (2020), the AIC-Drac Hauts-de-France grant (2014, 2018, 2023), the AIRLAB—Artists in the Lab residency (2020), the Dicréam-CNC grant (2014), the Brouillon d’un rêve numérique-SCAM grant (2014), and the Pictanovo-Émergences and Bonus Recherche grants (2021, 2014).
This year, she was an artist-in-residence in the Centre Pompidou/Quadrilatère program for the Hors-Pistes/Hors-Champs festival. She was previously invited to residencies at a high-mountain refuge (L’envers des Pentes, 2024), near Mont Blanc (Archipel-art-contemporain, 2019), in Saint-Pierre and Mique-Ion (Finis Terrae, 2022), on a glacier in the Ecrins (le Magasin de Grenoble, 2018), at the Camargo Foundation with the Stevenson collective and Labex Med (2018), at the Ouessant semaphore station (Finis Terrae, 2016), on a fishing boat (Finis Terrae, 2018), at CRAC 19 (Montbéliard, 2022), at the Dunkerque-Wimereux Laboratory of Oceanography and Geosciences as part of AIR-LAB (2020–2021), at the FRAC-Franche-Comté (2016), at the art schools in Calais and Boulogne with the FRAC Grand Large (2024).
His work has been exhibited, among other places, at the Centre Pompidou (2013, 2017), at La Villa du Parc (2019), at the Mucem (2019), at the François Schneider Foundation (2022), at CRAC 19 (2022), at the Frac Grand Large (2015, 2019), at Charlotte Perriand’s Tonneau refuge for Artocène Chamonix (2022), at the Rencontres photographiques de Lorient (2017), at the Salon de Montrouge (2014).
His films have been screened at numerous national and international film festivals, including Cinéma du Réel, FID Marseille, Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid, and the Tampere Film Fest...
Her work is part of the Frac - Grand Large collection, the collection of the city of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, several art libraries, and private collections. She has participated, among other events, in seminars and masterclasses at the Maison de la Poésie (Paris), La Vieille Charité (Marseille)—at the invitation of Labex Med—at the Camargo Foundation (Cassis), at the Greylight Project (Brussels), the Biennale de l’image possible (Liège), the FRAC Grand Large (Dunkirk), the FRAC Besançon, Le Fresnoy (Tourcoing), the University of Nanterre, Paris VIII, Lille 1, and Lille 3, Polytech Lille, ESA Annecy, ESA Dunkirk and Tourcoing, ESA Grenoble, and ESA Clermont-Ferrand.
