Olivier Pilarczyk

Photographer

I'm an amateur photographer from Lille, going by the username lowlifecamera.

I practice black-and-white street photography, and sometimes in color. I took my first film photos as a teenager, before switching to digital. Today, I alternate between the two technologies depending on my mood and the project. My influences range from Cartier-Bresson to Saul Leiter, including Joel Meyerowitz, Marc Riboud, and Elliott Erwitt. When I’m not out on the street with a camera, I make music.
