Marina Caudron

Photographer and Set Designer

Born in Lille in 1978, Marina Caudron’s work revolves around the concepts of space, connection, functionality, and detachment.

The forms associated with these elements are the documentary and the staged performance. The images produced show us an altered and/or dysfunctional reality. In 2022, during the “ archives and Photo Retrospective "At the ENSP in Arles, in the presence of Susan Meiselas and Pierre Leguillon, she began developing the Namur project, in which she explored self-representation within her own family over a 15-year period. The project took on a broader scope as events unfolded. An initial book mockup and a new edit will be produced.

She is part of a collective, Soft Trigger , based in Lille, who founded a creative space called the Labo de l’univers in 2013.
