Born in Lomme in 1978, Marc Vidal lives and works in Lille.
Alongside his work, he finds in the street photography , a useful way to examine reality. Through the lens of the absurd, he explores themes such as mass tourism, the culture of entertainment, and globalized urban spaces. His latest work Journey to the End of Boredom was exhibited, among other places, at the Ouverture Gallery in Liège and at the Festival Biographies in Montpellier or even at the Photo Festival from Tbilisi, Georgia.
