Born in Saint-Cloud in 1978, Jérôme Coton is a photographer.
A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Montpellier, he works between Lille and Paris. His approach, which is both documentary and conceptual, is driven by the history of human beings over time and within their social and cultural environments.
In his work, he places particular emphasis on photographic, audiovisual, and textual archives to foster a contemporary perspective rooted in history.
