Jeanne Fourneau

Jeanne Fourneau, who had already been working as a photographer while pursuing her studies, earned her master’s degree in print journalism in 2022 before devoting herself to documentary photography. 

Her work tells social and political stories—often offbeat, never complacent—about gender minorities navigating the public sphere, including her own exploration of cyclofeminism; biodiversity in the face of the productivist machine, with work on alternative agriculture or plants in urban wastelands; the impact of the massive exploitation of land and people in the Northern Mining Basin... 

After working in Morocco, Corsica, and Paris, Jeanne returned to the places of her childhood and settled in Brussels in 2023, where she finally began to develop the visual aspect of her photography.
