Hugo Clarence Janody

Born in 1987 in Annecy, Hugo Clarence Janody is now based in Lille, where he lives and works.

The issues that interest him relate to identity, memory, and daily life in the places—and non-places—he visits. In 2017, he began exploring his family history through a publishing project that he has so far carried out in Armenia and Turkey.

In addition to his work as an author, he occasionally covers current events and contributes to the press.
