Hélène Marcoz

As a photographer and videographer, Hélène Marcoz uses recorded images to respond to the complexity of reality and the multiple perceptions of space-time.

His latest series of images stem from the same approach: standing still in space to watch time pass and discover the connections that form between the gaze, the image, the place, and temporality.

Her work is regularly exhibited in France and abroad and is included in various public and private collections. She teaches photography at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture et de paysage de Lille. 

She participated in the Institut pour la photographie's Openfolio in 2019—and was among the winners of the first edition—and again in 2026.
