François Dujeux

Born in Namur in 1995, François Dujeux grew up and lived in the small town of Ciney in the Condroz region of Belgium. He died prematurely in 2025.

" I have always been interested in art in all its forms, and this interest was nurtured by the many exhibitions my parents took me to during my childhood. I began my artistic training at the Ciney Academy of Fine Arts, where I studied drawing and its various techniques. 

It was while studying image technology at the Haute Ecole Libre Bruxelloise (HELB) that I truly discovered photography. I focused on learning documentary and fine art photography. 

After completing my studies, I developed several projects centered on the concept of territory. My projects often begin with explorations and wanderings, during which I find inspiration for a series or a direction to take in order to tell the stories of the territories that inspire me through images.
