Chloé Wasp

Originally from Lille, Chloé Wasp lives and works between Arles and Paris.

Chloé Wasp is a visual artist and filmmaker. She graduated from the École nationale supérieure de la photographie (ENSP) in Arles in 2019 and is part of the Vera Molnár class of 2023–2025 at Le Fresnoy – National Studio for Contemporary Arts.

Her work focuses primarily on myths, perceptual disturbances, and experiences of otherness across all species. Within this field of exploration, the body is central. Her entire approach revolves around encounter and sensory experience. 

Passionate about portraiture, she explores unconscious phenomena and the relationships between humans and animals.  As a multidisciplinary artist, her photographic work is interwoven with texts and video installations. 

In 2025, she directed her first medium-length documentary titled Jaguars , with support from the CNC and Le Fresnoy.
