Anne-Sophie Costenoble

Anne-Sophie Costenoble explores and captures ordinary, fragile moments. 

Her sensitive and poetic approach to photography places chance and wandering at the center. Often shrouded in a dreamlike, twilight atmosphere, his images seem to reach us from distant horizons, oscillating between urgency and bewilderment. He finds joy in blending artistic disciplines. 

She has collaborated with, among others, sound artist Margarida Guia, poet Carl Norac, printmaker Bruno Robbe, writer Caroline Lamarche, journalist Philippe Pujol, choreographer Ephya Gburek, and photographers Nia Diedla and Jean-François Spricigo. She works with digital pinhole photography, a technique that involves a certain degree of discomfort in practice and creates a gentle, sensory world. Her photographs have been exhibited in Belgium, notably at the Museum of Photography in Charleroi and at Espace Contretype in Brussels. Her work has been shown in various European countries. She lives and works in Belgium.
