Anastasiia Leliuk

Anastasiia Leliuk (born in 1997 in Luhansk) is a Ukrainian multidisciplinary artist based in Kyiv.

As an artist, Anastasiia works primarily in the fields of painting, sculpture, photography, and installation, while occasionally incorporating other experimental elements such as video, sound, performance, and interactive processes. Her works explore vulnerability, loss, utopias, and the mythologization of the unknown, drawing inspiration from personal and local stories, particularly contemporary experiences of war, displacement, and the traumas associated with them. She has participated in numerous residencies and artist programs in Ukraine and abroad, and her works have been widely exhibited in Ukraine, as well as in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Poland, and Japan.

In addition to her personal practice, she has been involved in monumental restoration projects since 2018, and in 2024, she co-founded the art collective “ 3atyrka ". She is also the founder and curator of the artist-run space " Temporary Place ", which serves as a platform for artistic practices focused on temporality and decentralization.

She holds a BFA from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Kyiv, a BA from the IAE Metz School of Management in Metz, in France, as well as certificates in contemporary art and in memory and commemoration studies from UMCA and the Kiev Academy of Media Arts.
