Projection-performance based on *Galaxie*

A program inspired by the films of Sandra Lahire, conceived by Lotte Arndt, Maud Jacquin, and Émilie Renard, June 11–15, 2026, featuring Myriam Bahaffou, Vincent Enjalbert,   Victorine Grataloup , Simon Ripoll-Hurier, Kyveli Mavrokordopoulou, Aram Lee,   Elena Lespes Muñoz, Katerina Thomadaki, Basyma Saad. And films by Karel Doing, Barbara Hammer, P. Staff, Ana Mendieta, Adrian Kahgee / Odeimin Runners Club, Elke Marhöfer with Mikhail Lylov, Alisi Telengut, and Ana Vaz.

This title, taken from the poem Love Letter (1960) by Sylvia Plath breaks down the boundary between the body and living matter: the I becomes, in turn, an animal, a mineral, and a liquid. This trans-corporeal image resonates deeply with Sandra Lahire’s films and could just as easily apply to the film itself. Lahire’s work offers us a starting point for collectively reflecting—alongside invited artists and researchers, participating audiences, and the art center’s team—on our shared, yet differentiated, exposure to various forms of toxicity. From this place of shared vulnerability, the aim is to build forms of care and solidarity with others—both human and non-human—within an environment that defines us.
