Portraits #1 – The Afghan Box

Come have your portrait taken! Traditionally used by street photographers who take ID photos for their clients, the Afghan box is a light-tight wooden box that combines a camera and a darkroom.
in conjunction with the exhibition Portraits of Interiors , the Institut pour la photographie invites you to come—alone, in a group, with your family, or with friends—to discover this technique and create your own interior design using the props provided.
